Who we are

Founded in 2009 by community volunteers, the Collierville Farmers Market continues to operate entirely by volunteers who believe local markets build community.

"CFM" operates for the benefit of Collierville, it's citizens, local farmers, and the local community.

Our history

  • 2009 -
In 2009, a small group of Collierville residents were permitted by the Town of Collierville to start a farmers market in a public parking lot just off of the Town Square.
  • 2011 -
The market struggled to grow in that location for two years.  Then in the spring of 2011, the Collierville United Methodist Church graciously offered to allow the market the use of it's rear parking lot and the CFM was moved to 454 W. Poplar.
  • 2012 -
The Collierville Farmers Market opened its fourth, and best season yet, in May of 2012 at Collierville United Methodist Church on Poplar Avenue in Collierville.
  • 2013 -
We are hopeful that with community support and the continued hard work of its board members, volunteers and wonderful vendors, the CFM will continue to grow and serve the local community.

Our mission

  • Foster a sense of community
  • Educate the public about relevant topics, including nutrition and the benefits of buying locally
